Your coach comes to you. Private 1:1 training in your home: same structured methodology, same corrective-first approach, same accountability as the studio. Have your own equipment? We program around it. Don't? We bring everything. Zero commute. Complete privacy.
OmniFit Performance provides private in-home personal training for professionals and executives over 30 across North County and coastal San Diego, working from a base at Teqneeq Functional Health Center. Led by NASM Elite Trainer Nemezio LopezPerez, who holds corrective exercise (CES), performance enhancement (PES), behavior change (BCS), nutrition (CNC), and ACE corrective exercise (CES) credentials. Each session is conducted in the client's home, programmed around their own equipment or with all equipment provided by OmniFit. Programs follow a structured Assess → Correct → Build → Sustain methodology emphasizing joint-friendly strength training, desk posture correction, and sustainable body recomposition. In-home training is offered as named tiers by training frequency, billed every 4 weeks, with all programming, nutrition guidance, and accountability included; current rates are published on the OmniFit Training Rates page, and a travel fee may apply depending on location.
The Problem
You Don't Need Another Gym. You Need a System.
Whether you've built a home gym that sits unused or you've never owned a dumbbell, the missing piece is the same: expert programming, periodic assessment, and real accountability. Without those, nothing changes. Sound familiar?
✗
YouTube / App Workouts
Generic programs not designed for your body. No one watching your form. No one adjusting when your shoulder or knee flares up. No accountability when you skip a week.
✗
Mobile Trainers
Show up with a bag of bands. No assessment, no periodization, no corrective work. They deliver a one-off workout, not a structured program that progresses.
✓
OmniFit In-Home
A full personal training program in your home. Movement assessment, corrective protocols, custom periodization, nutrition coaching, and data-driven progress tracking, using your equipment or ours.

In-home personal training eliminates the two biggest barriers executives face: commute time and gym environment friction. OmniFit Performance's in-home service delivers the same structured Assess → Correct → Build → Sustain methodology used at its studio inside Teqneeq Functional Health Center, conducted in the client's own home. OmniFit provides all equipment when needed, or builds the program around a client's existing home gym, and either way the program is individually designed for the client's movement assessment results, equipment situation, and schedule, never adapted from generic templates. The typical OmniFit in-home client is a professional or executive over 30 across North County San Diego who wants structured, accountable coaching without commuting to a gym.
Investment
Three Tiers. One Standard.
In-home training is offered as three named tiers by training frequency, billed every 4 weeks on The Program, or as the three-cycle Foundation for new clients. Every program includes assessment, programming, nutrition, and accountability, with equipment provided when needed. Current rates for every tier and session pack live on one page: Training Rates & Programs. A travel fee may apply depending on location.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are forfeited. Consistency drives results.
Flexible Billing
The Foundation is paid in full at enrolment. The Program is billed every 4 weeks via auto-pay, cancellable with 30 days' notice. No activation fees.
Honest Fit Review
If the program stops being the right fit, say so. We would rather release a client than hold one in a plan that is not working, and we will tell you first if we think that is the case.
A workout written before anyone has watched you move is a guess. It may be a good guess, but it cannot account for the restriction in your left hip, the shoulder that only hurts under load, or the fact that your squat is being driven by the wrong muscles. Assessment is what turns a plan into your plan, and it is what makes progress measurable later rather than merely felt.
The Nine-Point Movement Screen
Overhead Squat Assessment — compensations in ankles, knees, hips, and shoulders under a loaded pattern
Single-Leg Squat — unilateral stability, hip strength, knee tracking
Push & Pull Patterns — shoulder mechanics and scapular stability under load
Posture Photos — front, side, and back baseline, re-scored quarterly
Joint Range of Motion — shoulders, hips, ankles, thoracic spine
Grip Strength — a reliable marker of functional strength, tracked monthly
Bodystat Body Composition — medical-grade bioimpedance via the Bodystat QuadScan 4000: lean mass, fat mass, hydration
Core Stability — plank and anti-rotation testing
Gait Analysis — walking mechanics that reveal asymmetries and compensations
Resting Heart Rate and Blood Pressure
Two readings are taken at the diagnostic and repeated at each monthly review: resting heart rate and resting blood pressure. Both are simple, both are free to collect, and both give context that a scale cannot.
Resting heart rate — measured seated after five minutes of quiet, tracked as a trend rather than a single number
Resting blood pressure — recorded the same way each time, same arm, same posture
Trend, not diagnosis — these are training-context markers, not a medical assessment
Readings outside the ordinary range are a referral, not a programming adjustment. If a reading is high or unusual, the next step is your physician, and training continues only within whatever guidance they give.
Education, not diagnosis: the screen describes how you move and gives us a baseline to program from. OmniFit Performance does not diagnose conditions. If something in the screen suggests a problem beyond a trainer's scope, we say so and refer.
Protocol
The Desk-Posture Protocol
Most in-home clients sit for a living, and the pattern that produces is consistent enough to program against directly. Prolonged sitting holds some muscle groups short while their opposing partners sit long and under-used, and tissue adapts to the position it spends the most time in. The protocol runs in every session rather than as a warm-up bolted on the front.
Release and Lengthen
Hip flexors, chest and front-of-shoulder, and the upper trapezius. Soft-tissue work followed by targeted lengthening, kept inside the 3/10 pain ceiling.
Activate
Glutes, deep core, lower trapezius, and the mid-back. These are the partners that go quiet during long sitting hours, and they will not switch on by themselves under load.
Integrate and Load
Hinge, squat, push, and pull retrained so the right muscles fire in the right order, then progressively loaded once the pattern holds. Load is added to a pattern that works, never to one that does not.
Scope
What We Can and Cannot Coach Around
These are the situations OmniFit Performance genuinely works with in-home, described honestly. None of this is treatment, and none of it replaces the provider managing your care.
Post-physical-therapy return to training — after discharge and clearance
Old injuries that healed but never fully rebuilt — previous sprains, strains, and surgeries
Joint discomfort under load — programming modified around a 3/10 pain ceiling
Deconditioning after a long break — returning gradually with progression tied to tolerance
Only Alongside Your Provider
Ongoing physical therapy — we coordinate rather than duplicate, with your permission
Managed chronic conditions — training within whatever limits your physician sets
Recent surgery — only after written clearance, and at the pace your surgeon specifies
Not In Scope
Undiagnosed pain — see a physician or Doctor of Physical Therapy first
Acute injury — this is treatment, not training
Diagnosis of any kind — OmniFit does not diagnose, and does not prescribe rehabilitation
Prenatal and postpartum programming — not a certification we hold
The honest version: a trainer who claims every condition is workable is telling you something about their marketing, not their scope. If a situation belongs with a clinician, the useful thing we can do is say so early and coordinate once you are cleared.
Use Cases
What People Come to Private Coaching For
Private coaching is rarely the goal on its own. These are the situations it usually attaches to.
Long-Term Transformation
You want a body that holds up for years rather than a twelve-week push that unravels. The work is built to be repeatable: a plan you can still follow in month nine, progressions tied to what your body tolerates, and a coach who adjusts the plan rather than restarting it.
Fat Loss Without Crash Protocols
Aggressive plans usually fail on the joints or the schedule before they fail on willpower. Training your body tolerates is what makes consistency possible, and nutrition is coached alongside it with individualized macros rather than a template handed over on day one.
Desk-Worker Posture and Mobility
Long sitting hours, stiffness that arrives before the workday ends, and the sense of moving worse than you used to. Programming targets the specific patterns desk work creates, with corrective work built into every session rather than bolted on as a warm-up.
Data-Driven Hybrid Coaching
You travel, your calendar moves, and you want the work to continue anyway. In-person sessions combine with app-delivered programming, and the same benchmarks are tracked either way so nothing is guessed between visits.

Common Questions
In-Home Training FAQs
How much does an in-home personal trainer cost in San Diego?
OmniFit Performance in-home training is offered as three named tiers by training frequency: Momentum (weekly), Performance (twice weekly), and Peak (three times weekly). New clients start on The Foundation, three consecutive 4-week cycles paid in full at enrolment; after that, or by direct entry, The Program bills every 4 weeks. Every program includes a full movement assessment, custom programming, nutrition guidance, weekly accountability, and monthly progress reports, with equipment provided when needed. A travel fee may apply depending on location. Current rates for every package are maintained on the Training Rates page.
What areas do you serve for in-home training?
OmniFit Performance serves North County and coastal San Diego, reaching as far south as La Jolla. Each area has its own page with local detail; see the service area section above for the full list. A travel fee may apply depending on location. If your neighborhood isn't listed, reach out, since we may accommodate select locations.
Do I need a home gym or my own equipment?
No. OmniFit Performance brings professional-grade portable equipment for a full session. All you need is about 8×8 feet of open floor space. If you already own a home gym, your program is built around your equipment instead, with recommendations for additions only when they'd genuinely help. During your consultation you can send photos of your space and we'll plan accordingly.
How is OmniFit different from a mobile trainer?
Mobile trainers typically bring a bag of bands and deliver a generic one-off workout. OmniFit Performance delivers a full, structured personal training program. You receive the same 9-point movement assessment, custom periodized programming, corrective exercise protocols, and accountability system used in the studio at Teqneeq Functional Health Center. The methodology is identical, and only the location changes.
What does a typical in-home session look like?
Sessions are 45–60 minutes. Each begins with a targeted warm-up and corrective activation sequence based on your assessment. The main training block focuses on compound strength movements, progressed systematically each week. Sessions end with mobility work addressing your specific desk posture issues. Everything is logged in the Trainerize app for tracking.
Can I combine in-home training with virtual coaching?
Yes. Many clients use a hybrid approach: in-home sessions for hands-on coaching and heavy lifts, plus app-guided programming for independent training days. This is especially effective for clients who travel. Your in-home sessions focus on corrective work and compound strength, while app sessions maintain consistency from hotel gyms or on the road. See Hybrid and Virtual Coaching.
What results can I expect?
Results vary by starting point and adherence, so OmniFit Performance measures every client against their own baseline rather than promising a timeline. Sustainable fat loss is tracked across 12 objective metrics, with formal 30-day progress reports. Monthly progress reports track posture photos, strength data, body composition, and adherence so you always know exactly where you stand.
Do I need prior training experience?
No. OmniFit Performance works with clients at every starting point, from complete beginners who have never touched a weight to experienced lifters who need corrective work after injuries. The 9-point movement assessment establishes your exact baseline, and your program is built from there. Every exercise is coached in person, progressed systematically, and tracked.
